Shawarmas, Falafels and Babaganoush, Oh my 0
Finding great Arabic food in Seattle turned out to be a harder task that I had anticipated. In the past 4 years that I have lived in the area, most of the shawarmas turned out to be nothing more than rebadged gyros.
Then someone clued me on to Garlic Crush in Bellevue. The 2 guys who run the place have lived in the Persian Gulf countries and know the ‘khaleeji style’ of making shawarmas.
I recommend the beef shawarma combo. The fries with pepper and salt go great with the shawarma and don’t forget to get some pickled turnips as well
